I forgot a transcript for an institution I had attended for a couple of years after high school. The kind folks at Eagle were okay with that and I was offered the job. They did request that I fax the transcript in once I got home, which I did. With that said, they did want ALL transcripts, so I'd recommend getting the ball rolling now. Good luck!

I sent my application in on Thursday, got a call on Monday. I will be heading down to DFW on the 28th. I'm hoping for a successful interview and an LAX base. This is my first airline interview, and yes, I am nervous as hell. I have a decent amount of total time, but almost no instrument (I live in Phoenix). I am cramming like hell for the ATP writtnen, as we speak.
Anyway, the e-mail says to bring "High School or College diploma and transcripts or GED certificate/quivalent". I have my collge transcripts and my high school diploma....but are they really looking for high school transcripts, too? These could be hard to get, 20 years, and several states later.:( No where the hell is my Jepp Chart legend..... |

What do the girls look like there? Do they have beer? If the answers are good and yes respectively, I would go.

transcripts eh? dayum
my 1st attempt at a university turned out rather nasty, I wonder if I can just never mention that 1st attempt :x 2nd attempt was pretty much all As |
As cliche as it sounds, Don't Hide Anything! They will contact your institution and followup on your history regardless of what you provide in the way of transcripts. And, let's face it, if they don't require a degree, why in the world would that keep you from getting a job? Be prepared for the interview. Be professional. Study the ATP material. You'll get the job.

Good luck to all of you going to the Chicago open house. I don't know how they will do the interview there but you will get an invite for DFW if things go well for you. I have had a many old students interview there around Dec and January and there interview is pretty standard over the past few years. The sim profile has been the same unless they have recently changed in the last month. You should be in an ATR or Saab and if you can't use them, maybe the F100. I got to fly the old 707 which was a big beast! You will take off (LAX), climb to 5000, then to Sea Beach VOR for a hold, then vectors for the ILS 24 (Can't remember if its right or left)at LAX, shoot 2 ILS's one raw data and one with the flight director. Use the sim guy as an FO to help you out and call for all checklists and power setting. They also do a Tech interview, lot of Jepp charts and maps along with 121 regs. Basic Hr Interview with "Why Eagle" so on and so forth. That is the basic interview with a physical on day two. Good Luck!

My invitation says that I need to bring a High school diploma OR College diploma/transcripts or GED diploma. Since it says OR can I just bring my college stuff??? It also says that I need an original birth certificate, mine was stolen in a little while ago. I have a current passport? I am going down to DFW in about a week so i am trying to get things in order.
Ironbird, to give time of the mins, the posted is 100/800. I have 200/1450 and I didn't respond the same day they sent the email so they called me by 11am the next day. |
Just curious as to the forcasted upgrade time. Heard talk that it will be coming down a bit...but honestly, what are we guessing?....4-5 years now sitting right seat? I never really considered Puerto Rico as a base, but that would be an absolute blast.
