For further information, please contact American Eagle Pilot Recruitment at [email protected]. Karen Floyd American Eagle Pilot Recruitment ************************************************** *** Base guarantee is worth noting. There is a (unverified) story floating around where in December they had a new hire class of 15. On the morning of day 1, they got their aircraft assignments: 1 RJ and a bunch of turboprops to SJU (San Juan). After lunch, only one guy came back, the RJ. I'd love to hear more details about the program with respect to how long you're guaranteed a slot in a particular base. Obviously there must be a mechanism to adjust for manpower overages/shortages. Anyone? |
I cannot figure out why a young and likely single guy would not want to go to Puerto Rico?? It can be good fun down there, although I guess to each his own. I can understand a married guy who doesn't want to move his family and / or deal with the crappy commute, but a young single guy? Do that many people have the ambilical cord still attached problem, or are simply afraid to try something new? Its not like you have to stay forever.

What do the girls look like there? Do they have beer? If the answers are good and yes respectively, I would go.

ERJ135,
From the research I've done, you made a good choice! I've pretty much decided 'no way' to Big Sky as well. Hope it goes well for you in training. |
They need to begin offering incentives for new hires to go to SJU.
I think company paid housing would do it or some type of sign on bonus. |
