Default Big Sky in St.Louis?

Just read on climbto350.com thay they will be in St.Louis next week to recruit. Anyone know whats going on? Their website have the same info and they are looking for pilots. I've got a friend there but he haven't heard anything except that they got some EAS routes down there and in TN. What airlines have domiciles in St.Louis? Scoop anyone?

Big Sky has been awarded three EAS cities for that area: Cape Girardeau, MO, Jackson, TN, and Owensboro, KY. Great Lakes has also been awarded three in that area: Burlington, IA, Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and Marion/Herrin, IL. Here's the FAA document awarding both carriers the cities:

Other airlines off the top of my head based in St. Louis:

American
Trans States
GoJet (I think)

They are having troubles finding enough people to fill the spots that they have. If you are interested, apply. Even if you are below posted mins.

I've heard the same. They waved the multi requirement for someone with 1500 TT just a month ago.

Well, everyone at Air Midwest seems to think that Big Sky has made an offer on our airline. I guess only time will tell, but many senior ppl are starting to jump ship. This makes one wonder if someone knows what this soon to be announced offer will be.

Sweet... Maybe sometime you'll be taking me to my parents house.... Good ole' MWA.

Does this mean that Lake will get a STL base? What about Big Sky?

Big Sky is hiring for BOS crewmembers right now. They are opening a base in BOS to do Eagle flying in the 1900's. If the dispute over scope (aircraft size) with Mesaba pilots is resolved in Big Sky's favor, they will most likely look to add Saab 340s or DH8s to the fleet.
