It doesnt apply to me, but I hear that Chatauqua is offering a $2500 bonus to FO's that have previous CRJ experience to come to work there.

Is this further evidence that the demand for pilots is getting worse?

Yep, it's true. Current and qualified CRJ 200 and ERJ 145 pilots get $2500 upon completion of IOE.

This could be a good sign..... the tables are finally turning back in our (the pilots) favor............. So who's up for demanding more money...

Believe it or not that is VERY true. I've been talking with several people abotu who was in their interview classes about it seems like half of them are always from mesa.

yup. skywest has been relying on hiring mesa guys up until this chataqua deal. this sure beats the $50 gift card we get for referring people to skw

Everyone I recommended didn't get hired anyways, so what is the frickin' point? If they are turning people away, especially ones with 1000 EMB145 time, they can't be that desperate for pilots???
