Other than the gouges on aviationinterviews and willflyforfood, anyone have anything useful for the Pinnacle interview? Especially the written and tech? Thanks...

I found the gouges on aviationinterviews to be pretty accurate. And the written wasn't as hard as people on there make it sound. At least for me it wasn't. As for the tech portion, I got asked really basic systems questions. Know your Jepps. And be sure to know the 121 regs. One of the guys who I interviewed with wasn't hired because he answered all 135 stuff. And hopefully you won't go first to the HR/Tech, that way you can ask the people who go before you what they ask. I'm pretty sure they ask everyone the same questions. The interviewer had a 3- or 4-page list of questions, and he just went through them all and wrote down my answers.

All in all, it was a fairly easy interview process, and everybody there was very friendly. The worst part is all the waiting, especially if they have like 20 people to interview like they did when I was there. But atleast they tell you that day if you're hired or not, so you don't have to go home and wonder.

Good luck, maybe I'll see ya in Memphis!

I have to agree with Yzerman. Knowing if you got the job right after the interview shows respect and it is totally different than others that do not give any explanation or feedback on why they do not hire someone. The interview at Pinnacle is by no means easy. I would say that it is more demanding than in most places but it is fair and people are evaluated by their knowledge. I was impressed by the diversity of people working there and not like in other regional where you see a tendency of "Hitler youth" where they want just one type of individuals. The people where friendly and relaxed and it was interesting also to see applicants from other regionals that just got out of training but wanted to leave their regional and where trying to move to Pinnacle. That must mean something............

I just interviewed on Tuesday and if you study the gouges you'll be great. I went back about 6 months just to get as many tech/hr questions that i could. Written is really not bad, sim is touchy so get some practice. Great people up there and can't wait to start monday!!
