Nope that was all set up by NWA Mainline. We had no control over it. We wish those jets came to us, it's a shell game though. It should never be compared to freedom or gojet. It's original intent was to give NWA furlough pilots a place to fly. Granted I don't think many will take it.
They will use us as their ramp operations in the hubs and many outstations. So Mesaba stock will go up with the increase in operations.

You soon will find out that MESABA will do MX and everything else but fly the plane. Now that we have been purchased by NWA, I wonder how we will fair. The main line TA allows ONE SJ operation as a subsidery to NWA. Now they have two. Two regionals with two different pay scales. Doesn't make sense. But then again, what does? The NWA fleet plan gives use confirmation on the future growth of NWA's airlink partners. To answer your question, I know that MESABA pilots will continue to display professionalism towards all the airlink pilots.
