Think the last I heard was approximately 7 street captains will be hired for Jan 29th class date. Most likely will be based in Boston area for newly acquired EAS routes.

Yeah, they currently have 8 Capts and 3 FO's in SPI. Rumor is some may want to go to BOS but who knows. I'd say your chances are pretty slim at this point to get into SPI. Guess it just depends on who upgrades and where they want to go and where your seniority # falls if you get hired.

Probably Boston. Understood... If you are at a place like Skywest you'd be a fool to run but I have no clue where you are flying the RJ at? There are a lot of changes going on around here especially with this Mair, Mesaba, NWA thing going on with Big Sky attached to the whole thing somehow. We are all guessing at what will happen in the near future All I know is that BIL and BOI at this point are going pretty senoir, SPI is next and not many at all want to go to Boston. Dont know if other larger airlines have a housing allowance built into their contracts if you live somewhere a lot more expensive than Montana... we don't and living in Boston on even Big Sky captain wages would suck.

I do have some food stamps you can borrow if you promise to pay me back sometime in the next 15 yrs.
