Yes, they are advertising for FO positions on their website, it is just embedded further down on bigskyair.com/retirement. Requirement(which doesn't mean much) is 750/50.

Sent in an app to bigsky over the holidays, for an FO position. Sent it in as soon as they won that Boston flying, i'm from the northeast yeah it would be painful to live off of but it can be done. Never heard back from them, any tricks to gettin an interview? If i were to call the office who should i ask for?
Only thing I know is if you know someone that walks in your stuff and has known or flown with you in the past. Otherwise, just play the waiting game. If you're from the NE, this would look good to them, I guess. Maybe call HR to verify they got your info while planting a seed at the same time.?

Yes, we have jumpseat agreements but no commuter clause in our union contract at this time which sucks. Capts currently start around $36/hr and FO's @ 19/hr with a 72 hour monthly guarantee. The info on this website is accurate... Our schedules are currently between 72 and 80 hrs/mo on avg. Flight time varies a lot throughout the company. I've had 100 hr. months and 0 hr. months. Good luck guys!

Just to let you know i'm not some repetative idiot... The previous 2 posts were put up while I was writing this one...

No, you asked what the hourly rates were. I'm not sure why it still says Metro here on the APC profile but I am willing to bet the rates are similar if not identical since the metro and 1900 are the same sized airplane. According to your profile, you are already in the industry so you should know that most pilots at most airlines average 80-100 hours of pay each month. I'm not sure why you can't make that leap of logic to figure out a ballpark number. Good luck bud.

Stop talking down to him, you $(%$'ed up and you know it . He wanted to know hourly rates for the 1900 and what the average credit for the lines are. None of that is on the APC web site. I thought it was a pretty valid question, sorry goarmy I can't help though.

Hiring street capts. Upgrade time N/A. Nice name jagboy, quite the antonym to pilot pay.

Any info. on training? I believe it is still in Billings, MT. Any chance of staying in the west or is pretty much everyone heading to the east? Do they pay for housing during training as well? Thanks.

Nick or any other Big Sky pilots,

Would you still recommend calling HR. Just filled out the online app. again. It says on the website no calls please, but what's the worst that could happen? If you think calling would be a good idea do you know who the person to contact would be and at what number?
