I'm supposed to fly up to Indi on Thursday. I received an email stating they'd be flying me up on Thur but that's all I've received. I've called the HR dept. and left a message saying I haven't received any flt #'s or anything else and still haven't been called back. Anyone know who I should contact? I have Linda but I only assume she is WAY busy and getting tons of messages.

you'll be going on standby. You should get an email with the flight number that they listed you on. Its space available so you will want to call the airline and make sure you have plenty of seats on your flight. Let them know what you are up to and they can help you out. Should be U.S. Airways.

How long after you applied did it take for you to hear back? When you did hear back, how long until your interview? Thanks TD

I don't know. It will be a mail thing. We'll have to see. The HR and Tech ok but the sim was a rollercoaster. I had the ATC-810 and for some reason the rudder pedals weren't to be used. Anytime you did the plane just took off in that direction very crazy like. I was told not to use them but old habits are hard to break. We'll see however I have a feeling it won't be good. Thanks for the info on republic btw.

I applied and heard back within 24hrs to be a flight attendent lol. I told them no thanks on that one that I was in the pool for a pilot and they said ok. Later I still hadn't heard back so I emailed them stating I was still interested in their company and would like to be a part of it. They then called within 48hrs. When they called me for my interview I was actually sitting in the terminal waiting to leave for my skywest one. They wanted me to come in Wednesday but I asked if at possible Friday because I didn't know what they would want me to bring and some of the items might take a little time to get.

You gotta love the old ATC810! Its a real piece of work. It was the craziest sim I have ever flown and I have flown quite a few of thoughts old timers. I wouldn't get too shook about it though. Hope they let you know the outcome soon! Good luck with it and Republic.

They usually overnight the ticket, so don't be surprised if you get it Wed for a thurs flight. Then just show up and you're on space avail. Good Luck!
