That kinda angers me............ I had 1140, and 140 multi and i couldn't get an interview to save my life (right around the time Independence guys were getting furloughed). 457 is barely enough to CFI long enough two sign a a few people off to take a checkride, insanity. I mean thats great for some of you guys, bu when I hear guys being ****ed that they cant get an interview with 400hrs...................who are you kidding, you arent entitled to anything.

Entirely different question, but does anyone know how many new hires are being sent to the ATR? I have a friend who is now in training for it. And what happens to those pilots when 2008 comes around and the aircraft are retired? Also, what is the average upgrade rate at ASA?

Took the written a few months ago and it was a piece of cake. From what I have heard, it was written by their interns. It had some ATP questions, but I seem to remember it had a lot of IFR regulations and stuff that anyone with a commerical ticket should already know.

Guys it happens all over the industry. Even at DAL there are 25 y/o that are getting interviews with min quals. Then some that is qualified like myself cannot beg borrow or steal an interview. Welcome to the industry!
