The Nflightmike is a great product paired with the QC35's by far one of the lightest headset's I have used to date. I had an issue with mine when I originally bought them the owner personally called me and mailed me another mic setup overnight. Amazing customer service!

Also, as far as the magnet option, just email the owner from the site directly. He is quite helpful and will get you whatever info you need with reference to the magnet.

Does it disable the Bluetooth when the mic is plugged in?

Yes

Another note, just received my magnet mod and starting a trip, first impression is pretty good, mich easier to mount and dismount than the Velcro, but it does like to move around a little bit.

Does the competitor brand also cut out the Bluetooth audio once the mic is plugged in? Is it a microphone thing or is it the earphones logic themselves cutting out the Bluetooth when the mic is plugged in?

Would be nice to be able to still have your phone Bluetoothed when doing other flying.

It is in the earphones I believe. I think the competitor bypasses that by having an aux input via a 3.5mm jack on the older units, not sure about the newer ones

I have the uflymike. I really like the setup but I feel like the plug could fit a little better into the headphones. I also have the QC25s which do not have Bluetooth anyway. I’ve read you can buy a Bluetooth adapter off Amazon, but I have yet to try it. Only the newest QC35s have Bluetooth which uflymike does not make a product for at this moment.

If you’re looking for a quality product, that will actually arrive at your house within a few short days, try Nflight.

Also, they are no longer working with the Velcro, it’s a magnet attachment, and are offering free upgrades..

Great product and very responsive owner, who started this to help avoid the pompous “other guy”.

Highly recommended!!!
Oh this is good news. Their site still shows velcro, so it's nice to see your pics and confirmation that it's not velcro anymore.

I have a question, for you and everyone else that's used it (or the uflymic). Do you wear the headset for the whole flight? Do you wear it with both ear cups on or with one off to the side? I have a QT Halo that has gotten me through flight training, and still holding up as a CFI. I've been so spoiled not wearing a normal headset, but I think I could get behind eventually having a QC25/35 with mic attachment.

Sometimes I take it off for long flights, but even when I haven’t it’s still very comfortable. I used to have lightspeed zulus which were still mostly comfortable, but I still had to take them off on anything over 1.5 hours as I could start to feel light pressure. I could wear my QC25s for hours. I’ve used the Bose A20s before also and in my opinion...even if they were the same price as a uflymike setup...I would still go with the QC25/uflymike setup just because the QC25s are so much lighter and more comfortable with basically the same sound quality.

I'll ask them to send me the magnet upgrade and get back to you.
