Post Best regional for commute out of PVD?

What's the best regional if you plan on commuting out of PVD (Providence, RI)? I was thinking republic with a base in DC.

There are plenty of airlines that would be commutable out of PVD.

Piedmont in PHL
PSA in DCA or CLT
Envoy in LGA
Endeavor in LGA/JFK or ATL

Nothing against Republic but I just don’t see the draw unless you’re absolutely sold on flying the 175.

Yeah I'm sold on the 175 but I probably shouldn't be. That's a bad way to choose a regional lol.

LGA JFK I believe you would be driving. Not that it's a bad thing. There is a EWR flight. Although most of them would never admit it, the main reason many of the people that go RAH do so is because of the 175.

Well I hope it's everything they hoped and more. Because you'll be flying it longer than if you went to many other places, especially the WO regionals. You can look out those shiny windows and see your peers flying even bigger, shinier jets! For more cash! While you think of this moment with fondness

I honestly don't see republic and sky west keeping up with the wholly owns.. envoy, PDT, psa and endeavor are the only places you should be looking at right now for east coast.

Would you not go to delta or American right now if they were only offering the mad dog 80? Go where best money, easiest commute, best quality of life and fastest upgrade and movement in seniority... none of those are republic.

Republic ewr base upgrade time is 4 years right now. Shorter at lga..
