Remember that the internet is a toilet stall wall than anyone with a sharpie will spout anything they want behind an anonymous name. I try not to feed the trolls but here it goes;
Mesa is a great choice for IAH. There is a training backlog for the EJet but I believe they are working through it. I'm a DFW FO on the CRJ and I had 0 days of reserve after 90 days of training that included a 2 week break. I have a great schedule with 14 days off this month. I will be home Christmas night. The pilot group is filled with great folks. If you have any questions, PM me.
Merry Christmas!

Give it a year or two before you are telling people to go there. I guarantee you won't

It's pretty obvious that you already have your mind made up. I won't go into the Mesa bashing, there is more than enough of that on this forum that one would hope that you know what you're getting yourself into. The only thing I'll add is that when you make your decision, take into consideration what place would be the best option if you had to work there for a few years. Just remember that you're not the only one out there trying to keep your head down and get out of the regionals ASAP. There are thousands upon thousands of pilots with thousands hours of TT and PIC still trying to get a call from a major. It will remain very competitive for the next 4-5 years. That's when the retirements really begin to take off at the legacies.
