Default ATP-CTP Study Material

I will be taking an ATP-CTP course in January for a 121 Regional, and I'm wondering what is the best study material to start preparing in advance?

I've heard the CTP courses aren't a very good prep for the written itself, and it is best to study the Gleim or Shepherd Air ATP Written Test Prep? Is there any truth to that? Which method do you guys recommend?

Sheppard Air Test prep for the written... money back if you score less than a 90 on the exam.

Sheppard Air. The ATP course is basically a waste of time if you have any 121 experience or ME turbine experience. Sheppard Air will prep you for the exam.

Third on Sheppard. It's also discounted if you've used their software in the past

I've been involved in the CTP classes at one vendor and heard form folks who have gone through at another. Don't worry about it. It is supposed to give you background information for the 121 world. There is almost no relevance to the actual ATM written. The course outline is driven by an FAA AC. Study for the ATM and don't worry about the CTP.

Question

Is there an actual book for the ATP written, or does the Sheppard course just teach you the test?

Sheppard air. NO QUESTION. Are you wanting to learn something? Do Shepard Air and pass then go back and read whatever books you want. Nothing and I mean NOTHING will prepare you for the ATP written like Sheppard Air. 70 or better is what you worry about.
