This is special Mesaba MEC pilot hotline for Thursday, September 29, 2005.

Our last pilot hotline on the 23rd promised to update you when we received any information from management concerning the Avro announcement. Finally late last night ALPA received a phone call from management requesting to meet with the MEC. The MEC will hold a special session in Minneapolis tomorrow morning, and will then meet with management during the afternoon. Management gave no "preview" of the substance of the meeting other than to say that the MEC would be required to sign confidentiality agreements related to financial information.

Following tomorrow's meeting you can expect a pilot hotline that will, to the extent we are legally able to, give an overview of management's presentation as well as any MEC directives that come out of the special session.

Please continue to focus your attention and energy on conducting safe operations. As we have stated before, our contract remains fully in effect. Your MEC will continue to communicate events affecting Mesaba pilots as quickly and accurately as possible.
