Mesaba Airlines Receives FAA's Diamond Award
Still another reason Mesaba is so great!!
The Diamond Award recognizes training for aircraft maintenance professionals throughout the airline industry. This is the seventh consecutive year that Mesaba has received the Diamond Award.

I was at the Rangers/Giants spring training game the other day in Surprise, AZ and during the inning change they had a contest were these two 20 year olds tossed little bags of peanuts through a large hole in a board. They stood about 4-5 feet away and after about 1 minute of tossing, like a girl, they only had a few through. I said to my friend, an ASA pilot, "my god, get closer why don't you." He said, "What the ******, are they retarded or something?" About that time everyone started looking at us. Once they were done they announced the special schools they attended (they were retarded), then he and I slowly got up and changed areas. He then stated "We are so going to hell." That was one of the funniest and saddest mistakes I have ever made.
If we had only heard the introductions we wouldn't have made that unthinkable mistake. LOL

XJPilot1, they got that award because of my ramp performance over the last 3 years. Want to convince the new chief pilot to take my resume with 400/100? Scott told me before they traditionally take lower within the company. haha, just joking about the resume. I already tried!
