Envoy won’t take E3 applicants.

As I'm sure many countries won't take US applicants. It's reciprocity.

I’m looking for a link to it, but I read a snippet that the RAA was lobbying for an H-1 visa program for foreign pilots.

We don't need union members who are legally indentured to the employer. If it's allowed, they should be considered probationary until they get a green card (ie they can't vote).

Shouldn't be allowed at all. Those visas should be reserved for truly rare talent (leading engineers, scientists, etc). Not as a way to undercut US pilot pay.

Never underestimate the back room deals that corporate executives are capable of. And any politician will gladly back such a measure for the right price. I'm still googling around trying to find the story. It was just a small blurb mentioning the RAA and their lobbying efforts. There's a lot of rabbit holes when you start poking around lobbying groups and their donations.
