This is the great falsehood I keep hearing. Yeah, mil has a leg up, but I’ve known plenty of people who did get hired and plenty of (really good, btw) mil people who either interviewed and didn’t get hired or haven’t even gotten a call.

To say that “mil = automatic major” is false.

It ain't automagic but if you're too cheap to spend 600 bucks at Emerald Coast then enjoy slumming it up.

There's literally no reason other than you were a complete tool bag prick if you were a mil pilot and can't get on at a major.

Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
Allegiant is opening VPS as a year round crew base in May 2018.

Correct.

Mil+Female = automatic major

This combination is about as for sure as the sun rising in the east.

Huh, better tell Delta. Both of the people who were turned down in my interview class were female military aviators. One was a minority to boot.

You sure they were turned down? Most 'poster child' pilots have an offer from every major on earth. Probably turned down DL to go to AA/UA/FX/UPS..

Yes, they didn’t make it to day two. If memory serves, one failed the HR and the other the knowledge test.
