Geez Pete’s ...

Glad I’m corporate. What’s next for you guys? The airline starts verifying you’re truly sick by monitoring you through your television set?

Man....

Just switch Com-3 to Voice. Problem solved. ;)

Yes corporate is so much better on average, I only wish I could have qualified. In corporate they'll fire you for any reason or no reason, they don't need to bother with proving anything

Glad you ended up in a good corporate job. I know plenty of people who’ve gone through hell at corporate gigs. Each one is different just like every regional is different. I haven’t heard of anyone getting in trouble for sick calls at my company unless they’ve literally argued with scheduling and said “if you don’t give me this day off I’m calling in sick”.

I recently flew with a guy who had a bandaid over the front facing camera on his company iPad

Almost everybody that I know has an MEL sticker over theirs. A bandaid is good too because if you ever want to actually use the camera, you can peel it off without leaving gunk on the camera.

Zuckerberg was observed with tape over the camera on HIS latop...

Sorry — can’t identify with that mindset where I work. I get what you’re saying, but it isn’t completely true; it depends on who you work for. I’m sure there are some super crappy corporate gigs out there; mine isn’t one of them. If you love the airlines so much, more power to you. If you’re happy, then I’m happy for you man!

True story. There are some pretty lousy gigs out there. I’m very thankful to be where I’m at.

The camera is part of the equation. I have gone through the Apple iOS settings and can’t find a way to disable the microphone. It’s not just video content but also audio that could be a problem. I have confirmed that a fully powered down device will still give location information. I’m going to test a device with a completely dead battery to see if it still reports location.

Or you could just get one of these.
