I've pretty much done everything everyone says not too do just because I'm that guy. I've not heard a peep about nothing.

These people that think the FAA & management is hiding behind every cloud should probably go see a psychiatrist or something.

I've even shared the cockpit with the knitting circle types with their tales of caution - recently it was "don't say nothing on social media, some guy said something on Facebook about XXX and I heard he got fired over it". My reply - "Really, you really think they fire people over that stuff"? Yes, was the reply. I remember when XXX happened and guess what, I just flew with that guy a month ago - we talked about this very thing, so obviously he did he not get fired... :eek: :rolleyes: :cool:

You'll probably be OK if you're not already a problem child. Although if there's any hint of management angst over reliability they might be looking to make examples... I've seen it, guys doing the same stuff that everybody else has been doing for years are suddenly hung out to dry.
