Default When will I get the call?

To everyone that’s on the regional forums, please stop asking this. You are applying for a job and not everyone will get a call or a job offer. I know everyone thinks that everyone will get a call at every regional they apply to but there is a decent chance you won’t. I think this is the only job in world where people expect an interview simply from applying. Please for the sake of the profession and yourself stop being entitled. If you have applied to your choice regionals and not heard anything back, do some self reflecting, look over your resume and maybe you will find something wrong you can fix. If everything looks good to you, maybe they have classes filled with people that have experience that better aligns with what they want.

The shortage is here, but only a few regionals are truly feeling it. The desirable regionals are filling classes and have more than enough applicants that fit their mold, if they don’t call you 2 hours after submitting maybe you are not what they want.

It’s a way to gauge whether they’re going to get a call or not. Chill.

All previously stated is fair, but why be such a d-bag about it? Folks are trying to gauge where they stand when it comes to hiring. Let it happen, dude. Bottom line is, if they call, they call. When it comes to regionals, unless you’re a raging scumbag, they’ll offer you an interview. When you’re at 1500, you’re competitive. Bottom line. Good luck.

I agree with OP. No one on here actually knows if anyone will get a call simply based on flight times. If you meet the minimums, apply to a few regionals. If they call, they call.

Sorry if annoyed people. I just find it annoying when someone asks a questions that has been answered with in 2 pages. Not to mention I dislike entitled people. There is a huge difference between asking “when will I get an interview” and “how long does it take to respond to an application” but before this question is asked look back a few pages, the answer is most likely already given in the last week. People need to stop being lazy and learn how to look for information themselves and not have everything spoon fed. It’s these same people that are too lazy to read 2 pages back that will require you as his sim-mate to help with with everything and spoon feed him everything when he was too lazy to study at night and you are sitting next to him not wanting to fail so you walk him though basic tasks.
And to everyone saying all regionals are hiring based on hours alone is stupid, envoy and endeavor both are in and out of hiring burst. If my reading had served me right good luck getting a call or class at envoy right now unless you are in their cadet program or rtp. 3 months ago endeavor stopped hiring all together for a few months. So no, not everyone will get a call at every regional

Buddy of mine has an FO interview at envoy tomorrow, for what it’s worth.

I'm fine with people asking "will I / could I get a call?"

What annoys me is people asking "I applied 12 hours ago, why haven't I been called yet?"

Instead of complain be a mentor.. you were outside looking in once before right?

Trust me.. if endeavour, republic or the american wo could take more pilots in every month they would. They just don't have the training resources to bring in more pilots.

Remember every captain we lose causes 2 training events below them.. the captain upgrade to fill their seat, and the fo training to fill the fo vacancy. This is worse at operators with more than one fleet type and now even worse at the mainline carriers.

The shortage is here.. everyone who is a legal, qualified pilot qol have an opportunity at a job.
