Its amazing, and I fly turboprops!

Thanks! I’m beginning to think the A20 might not be worth the extra $200 from the DC One-X.

If youre near a pilot shop, go try them on. I also found a place that accepts trade ins for noise cancelling headsets. They gave me 300 bucks for my first generation zulus. So I ended up paying 500 for my DCs.

Nice thing about the QC25 is it works great for commuting in the back and on overnights for Netflix.

Since I just started training at my new gig, I haven’t been able to try this yet. But my intention is to use the Bose QC35 with the NFlightMic. I can tell you the QC35 is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I was sitting under my air conditioner at my apartment, and couldn’t even hear it run. Going out to training, I was on a CR2 and a 757. Both aircraft were supremely quiet. Like I said. I haven’t used it as a headset yet. But just off of everything else, I’m incredibly excited. Plus, it gives you the option to have a very nice headset when commuting/dead heading/at the airport/working out/etc. Full disclosure: it’s not TSO’ed, but some airlines don’t require that anymore. Or you could always just play the ignorance card. :p

Thanks for the tip, I’ll see if there are any pilot shops nearby.

I’ve used my QC25 on vacation on a CRJ200 and E175 and I couldn’t hear anything with noise canceling enabled. Do you know how noise canceling on the QC25 and QC35 differ? Also is the QC35 Bluetooth only or can it be used wired with noice canceling?

Clarity Aloft. No headset head.:)

I’m not sure on the difference between the QC25 and the QC35 as far as noise canceling goes. The BlueTooth is an awesome feature, though. It’s so nice not having to worry about a cord. They do provide a corded input (and a cord). I haven’t used the corded function, so I can’t talk about the noise reduction there.

I heard there was a lot of mixed reviews on this. Plus my ears don’t play nice with in ear stuff, always falling out. Any issues with that?

Lightspeed has a horrible bulky controller, and pre-Zulu3 cable was cheap chinese junk. Battery life is also way worse than Bose.
Both are great headsets (as in - great sound, good mics and excellent noise cancelling). But it's A20 all the way for me.
