Majors will hire a ton (unless a ressesion hits) so any regional would be fine. I would stay away for the “iffy” contract ones... GoJet/Compass/Mesa until they get contracts with there majors renewed.. if you want to “*****” your self out and pick up stuff, any east coast SkyWest base on the CRJ you could fly 1000hrs block a year if you want...

Where can you find out when the contacts expire? I've heard dates for Mesa and AA at 2019 and even as far out as 2023.

You would have to look on here or dig through SEC fillings or old news articles... easyer to just ask around... the airlines that come to mind that contracts are up soon. Is some of Mesa’s (UA 700’s) Gojets, Compass.. Compass is the one that worries me. All there contracts expire soon and they don't own any of there aircraft...

Howdy fellas, it's been asked a million times but my situation is kinda different.
Approaching ATP mins, sloooowly, and trying to figure out what my best option is.
Single, no mortgage/lease, no kids, just me and my boxes.
Couldn't care less about my new base. Either Seattle or Key West would work for me, but since I'm that flexible, it'd be great if I could choose the best regional out there, or one of them. Pay matters obviously, the less reserve the better, the more I fly also the better. I know it's not a menu, but most you guys are well informed and your opinion would be much appreciated.
Cheers

I'm kind of in the same boat as you, except a couple years behind... It seems Ike right now if you go crj at skywest and move to ORD or DTW you will have great career progression at the cost of some QOL. Of course by the time I start applying things will be different
