The industry is cyclical. There is a shortage now that will last about 5 years, but once the Majors replace the retiring force, and once the expansion is over with, there will be a slow down again.

I haven't seen yet why TSA isn't a decent place to work, FOR NOW. Maybe I'm just lucky or it has been worse in the past. For now, I think it's ok.

Next month, no FO's on reserve. Worst line has 13 days off a month.

13 days off? not bad?? What???

Figure the average joe at a cubicle has 8 days off a month. Worst line is 13, I don't think that's too bad. Not great but not horrible.

Well...uh...at least you dont have to wash the bed sheets! Or clean the toilet...or....or....uh.....ehhh....Or pay for cable! And, uh....pay for hot water......And you get a free continental breakfast in the morning; now that makes it all worth it! :D

Average joe goes home at "night" only to do the same grind "early" the next day. I haven't flown a single day that was identical to a previous. Would you rather work 8 hours in a cubicle? If so, I respect your choice but it's definitely not for me.

Look at this!!! I have been here since last month and already have 263 posts! Low Fuel has been here since 2005 and has 130 something. That's sad. I really do have an addiction problem.

All I'm saying is you shouldnt be jumping for joy with 13 days off especially when your away from base on averge of 330hrs. A fair amount of days would be 15/16 days off but of coure senority dictates that. I was a second year fo at mesa and only saw one bid where I had above the min 10 days off. That 13day line at TSA is probaly blocked at 95hrs, if they could put more flying on it you would easly be down to min days off.
