Where did I say that? I said you used Mesa to go to another company. I wouldn't say that was "wrong". That's exactly what you did! :)

Your point is taken about other places hiring at low times. Might as well instruct a few more months then go to the place you want to hang. However, hiring can change on a whim, what is competitive now might not be in 6 months.

The one I'm looking at is blocked for 91, and but it also has *every* weekend off (Yes, Sat and Sun). And in theory I've got just enough seniority to hold it. Been here 3.5 months.

Yeah, it's a lot of TAFB, but I commute so it doesn't matter much to me. Gone is gone, RTB's don't help me.

Hey, I just tried to submit my app through Airlineapps and it told me that you are required to have an inside recommendation. Could that be why you haven't received a call yet?

I guess so. I did not do the airlineapps application, I just emailed my resume to the address on the TSA website and the pilotjobs.com website.

Flight instruct for another 4-5 months and go to a better regional, but if you want to use Piedmont/Tsa as a stepping stone go for it and really use it as a stone.

I AGREE. Build more time, then REALLY write your own ticket. Right now the airlines are in the driver's seat and low timers are NOT! Work a little bit more, build some more hours, THEN YOU are in the driver's seat getting to CHOOSE who you want to work for.
