Well, I had my checkride on March 29, aircraft check on March 30, and I just got the email today saying I start IOE on April 30. My month-long (very modestly) paid vacation is soon coming to an end.

I keep hearing the rumor that IOE happens faster if you are based in MKE (which is where I am based). I just did my checkride on April 22nd, and do my aircraft ride on the 26th... so I guess I will find out whether that rumor is true or not.

there are no check airment based in MKE, but i think they are TDY'ing them there. I personally think thats a great airport to do IOE at if you have no 121 experience. ORD is way too insane. SLC and DEN i guess wouldnt be too bad either, but if its your first time in a jet, MKE is nice and slow paced.

I hope we are still getting these vacations when I transition to the jet.

Have you put in your bid yet for the jet? I just got awarded FAT this week (about have the class ended up there) so I will give you a call here sometime soon. If you could PM me your number again I think I have it but send it again if you don't mind? I will be out in Fresno next week to start FTD. Thanks!
