Your parent airline didn't want to buy any RJ's, so they "rent" them from us. They needed more seats and didn't want props. People hate props! Trust me, I know, I fly the E-120. I don't know how much of your flying were "taking" I thought some or most were new markets?

I'm sure I missed spelled many words, it's not my stong point
You... being Skywest... dont own us. Skywest Inc owns us. So get off your high horse, jack@ss.

Consider this the start of the end for ASA. Skywest will swallow them up. Good luck to all the ASA guys/gals.

I don't want to be on a horse! If I sounded like I was I'm sorry. Skywest Inc will do whatever they want to, with both of us.

Testy? Back off buddy! He means no offense so stop acting like us SKW pilots are out for your jobs. We already have more flying than we can staff and EVERY PILOT AT SKW that I fly/talk with/to is really pulling for you guys. We want the best for all of you, seriously! Stop reading attitude where there is none.

I know what he meant and SKW Inc didn't exist until they purchased ASA and needed to separate from SKW in order to create an Mgmnt umbrella. So SKW does own ASA and from a business stand point SKW Inc will do what ever they need to do to insure SKW Inc runs more efficiently and makes more money than they do now. Yes ASA is making money but, as you know, they're as inefficient as they come. My buddy has 2 four day trips next month that only pay 11 hours each, BULL$HIT! I can go on if you like but I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about. Jerry needs to clean house at ASA and I it's not the pilots that need to be shown the door. The writing on the wall or should I say the equipment. LOL!

The only person wanting who doesn't care if another airline LOSES flying and we get it is SLAPHAPPY!!! No one else at SkyWest wants to fly ASA metal or anyone elses for that matter. I guess CHQ is considered scabs for "stealing" XJET flying? The pilots have no choice regarding these matters.

BTW, has anyone seen Slaphappy lately? Not that I miss him.

OK.................let's make a scab list:

Scabs pilots: Why

RAH: Took XJT, Horizon and Comair flying
Colgan: XJT flying
XJT: Took ASA flying
SKW: Took Comair, Skyway and ASA flying, wait SKW can't take ASA flying because it's already SKW Inc.
Mesa: Took FlyI flying and more................
ASA: Took Comair flying
GoJets: TSA, enough said
Pinnacle/Mesaba: NWA Baby 9ers

Someone took AWAC flying but I'm not sure who, but they must be scabs. LOL

VA, Skybus and JB...................................Ya!

Need I go on? Bottom line is we live and die by codeshares so get over it! We've got it now but we'll lose it later.

look at the brightside. for all the ASA defectors who jump ship and go to skywest, now you dont even have to change domiciles! yaaaaay for you guys. and to me that is a scab move, but thats directed only towards asa guys who leave for skw for obvious reasons

Everybody is tossing the "scab" word around....nobody crossed a picket. It is just different airlines underbidding each other or alter-ego airlines being formed.

so its ok for a TSA guy to go to GoJet?

yes its different than an ASA guy going to SKW, but come on now. going from a union carrier to your non-union brethren carrier is a foul move in my opinion. are you defending such an action?
