I use the Bose in the CRJ200. It works fine in the RJ when I don't turn on the noise cancellation. I absolutely loved it flying props but in the RJ I don't find the noise cancellation effective. In fact, I feel an uncomfortable pressure sensation with the noise cancelation on in the RJ. I plan to get a Telex for the RJ and hold onto the Bose for GA.

I am able to get my X in my flight bag with all of my manuals/jepps/couple of magazines. Don't try to do it with the bag you get from Bose, that won't work.

DitchDog are you in the May 7 class or have you already started? I've got a bose and I'm headed into CRJ ground with SKW and was wondering the same thing. Good thread

I was able to fit: 2 x 2" Jepp Binders, 1 x 1" Jepp Binder used as a trip kit, FOM, POH, Packet of Enroute Charts, my Bose X with the manufacturer's provided casing, a large puch for calc, pencils, passport, etc, and sunglass case. This all fits just right in a regular flight kit. I was planning on downsizing a little bit but so far so good. I don't mind the "extra weight" just yet but of course I'm still too new.

I have the Bose X headset as well, and it works excellent for me in the CRJ. I have also heard of some people complaining about the high pitch noise in the jet, but mine does not do that. Mine is the later model headset though, I wonder if that might have something to do with it. It really is a quiet ride with those things on. I have the vinyl flight case from luggage works and can fit 2 Jepp 2in binders, 1 Jepp 1in binder, the company manual, and my headset case in there without too much trouble. It is a tight fit though.
