Congrats to everyone who just got on at Express Jet. I am currently an ASA for the company on personal leave. Why? Express Jet is allowing me the chance to go build my time to internal mins then once I do, I get my interview. This shows you the type of company you are about to work for.

About IAH, you got some really good advice. Listen to it. I would add to stay away from the F.A.'s that are in training. They are a distraction, they want your money and will do anything to get it. I know of one guy (married) that was screwing around with a F.A. that told him if he did'nt want his wife to find out, he had better start paying her. The Kicker? She was doing a few other guys too.Bragged about how after she takes his money, she was still gonna call his wife (who helped put this tool through flight school.) And if you fail out because of a F.A. don't expect training to stick up for you. Be of one thought, you are there to make it through training and you waited X amount of years to get there. Don't let some hoochie mama jack it up for ya. The Good Eats is a heart attack waiting to happen, but depending on who you get as a server it can do the job for you. Anyway, go down there and knock it out. See you guys /gals on the line soon.

The sad part is that's it's true. I was there during training when it happened. The tools' wife shows up with thier kids in tow, the wife was a 10 on a scale of 10.

The person that got him was a how can I put this........ghetto hoochie mama from South Carolina. She spoke english, or at least made an attempt to, though she was born in this country. Go figure. I seems it doesn't matter to those FA's what you are, as long as your a pilot, that's all they care about.......and your money.

I dunno we dont have too many WHITE TRASH F/A (a few for sure) EWR is more like a (Gangsta's Paradise), Basically take Missy misdemeanor Elliot, mix her with a 49's line backer........................and that my friends is your typical EWR F/A, oh I almost forgot................. the attitude of a..............well lets just say very bad attitudes..........

LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!! How true!!!!! Oh man I got tears in my eyes from that one. I can recall numerous times when I was boarding a flight and went down the jetway as a courtesy to ask if they were ready to board, Once I got stared at, another complained about how horrible her flight crew was with the captain and f.o. in ear shot, still another bragged how she was going to quit cause Continental called her,(I distintincly remember she had some teeth missing) and all I did was ask, are you ready to board. One more, this one.....uhhhhhhhh this defensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals (yes she tried to pass herself off as a woman) when I asked her she just growled at me. I said are you okay? She told me no, and if somebody doensn't leave me alone they bout to get hurt. I said, Did you eat breakfast? She just rolled her eyes at me. Not knowing whether this woman was about to eat me or sit on me, I left, thankful I escaped that Hippopotamus...................................... ............ alive.

Well, not to derail you But I have successfully completed day one of Indoc....How about 200 people in the hotel ballroom..:) videos benifits ect...
my class is 30+ pilots.

I hate to remind you but you are still unemployed untill you pass that checkride then you have a job....then all you have to do is keep it GOOD Luck and by the way training is not fun it sucks but you do what you have to do.

haah if its your first 121 gig it will be the most stressful thing in your life, second time around its cake, good luck
