Default Compass

Has anyone heard what the payscale will be? I've seen 23.18 first year FO, but don't know anything about 2nd year or capt pay.

Thanks

P.S. That's for Compass if you didn't catch the subject line.

Do a search... there's more than plenty of info on compass.

But since you asked:

That scale looks low.
I heard that Compass is ALPA. Do they get to negotiate a contract?

Hopefully they can get these rates up. An EMB-175 is a pretty big aircraft. What do they seat? 76 people.

$23 hour...I made that first year flying a 50 seater! And I make more than 33 second year still flying a 50 seater. WOW, the race to the bottom continues.

Yes, Compass rates are sad and ALPA should take a stance but they are too worried about age 60 rule to give a fart. I got FedEx'd the interview inviatation yesterday and will probably not go based on their pay. A respectful employer should pay a EMB 175 CA at least 20% more than a 5 - 7 year EMB 145 CA and ALPA should enforce this. By my EMB-145 CA pay rate Compass CA 1st year pay scale should be at least $87/hour. SAD! I think I will email the HR woman and let her know how much her airline sucks already. They also expect you to pay for a hotel when you interview. What kinda crap is that. They only will get you airline transporation to MSP and I guarantee they will lose my bag like NWA always has in the past.

I see know advantage of working for the NWA poser airline.
Yeah and then I can go to NWA for a severe pay cut in 30 months to be potentially furloghed. I don't think so. I'd rather stay where I'm at making more $ with Furlough protection. Nice job ALPA agreeing to those rates. I suppose management won that round of golf.

I do hope they have success finding qualified candidates at these pay rates or this may be an accident waiting to happen. I'm sure ALPA will ensure this doesn't happen since they are so proactive at the regional level.(Yeah Right!)

I will wait for a call from SWA, FEDEX, UPS or even CAL(maybe).

PS Does anyone know their Pilot Bases other than MSP or is that it?

The problem is many of us are at worse companies with worse pay. At least Compass is offering 11 days off on rsv and other substantial increases in QOL. The pay would be an increase for many as well.
However if any of you guys at a major would like to square away an interview for me I would be happy to turn a def ear to any offer that might come.
All of us are trying to do the same thing. Advance our careers and lives. I would considering gettin to live at home with 3 extra days off and a substantially better contract with 2X the pay worth it. I promise I will leave....as soon as FedEx rings my door bell .
It seams many these days want to frown on anyones choice if it doesn't benifit them...I think I keep saying that.

But since you asked:

I was just looking back and it seems like they gave us the second column as the current payscales during the Q & A session. Any ideas or reasons for this? Although I know it is still lower than most want to see it is a little better.
Oh and one more thing, any body know when this would become amendable?
