Republic. Envoy opens and closes bases at the drop of a hat. Republic has been in NY flying for somebody like forever. Flow at Envoy isn’t what it used to be either. It’s no longer 50% of ever class, it’s now 29 a month, no “per class” or percentage requirement.... now you can’t have any discipline letters active, and you must upgrade to CA before flowing. It was a 5.5 year flow when it was 50% of every new hire position. They aren’t guaranteed 50% anymore. The flow projections are now mystery math.
Combine that with the worst reserve rules in the industry that they’ve “been fixing” since 2012 but never actually fix anything. Compounded by some of the most abusive and vindictive managers in the industry.
They issue disciplinary letters like candy, and it keeps the union busy fighting to clear everybody’s records. Most regionals share ALPA lawyers; Envoy has two (2) ALPA attorneys assigned to them due to the level of CBA and personnel issues.
Regardless of what anybody tries to claim, that fact alone, that ALPA had to assign two lawyers should tell you everything you need to know about their management. If the need weren’t there, two lawyers wouldn’t be there. That’s fact.

And LRJ 5 year CA at Envoy is $91.76.

I compared SRJ to SRJ whenever possible.

5 year captain, SRJ pay.

Skywest 82/hr
Endeavor 92/hr
Republic 92/hr
Commutair 71/hr
Mesa 69/hr
Envoy 83/hr
GoJet 78/hr
Air Wisconsin 79/hr

Average 80.75/hr

$83.42/hr is above average. Notice how I even skewed the average by including the highest paid regionals and skipped some lower paid ones.

First year FO pay, $50.21/hr, is also above average.

Currently a 6 year captain at $93.80/hr is close to Endeavor and Republic. This is a moving target because of our pay banding, the most junior guy on the LRJ pay is a 9/2014 hire.

5 year Captain pay at Endeavor is over 100$/hr.

And since he's gonna mention SRJ, it's $95+ at 5 year pay for 9E.

What does 5 year captain pay at Envoy matter when the company says everyone can flow in 5.5 years? Maybe compare the 3rd year captain rates...

I went simply from the pay rates in their profile. Not 100% accurate I'm sure.
Point was - Envoy is above average, not "industry low, by far", which was the post I replied to.

I wouldn’t choose a regional because of bases. Of course choose one that makes a commute easy, if it comes to that. The regional business model is based off contract flying. That means the regionals march to their mainline partners drum. Regionals open and close bases at the same rate celebrity’s change their spouses.

3rd year rates are in the same ballpark. Endeavor and RAH way ahead, Envoy above average, and Mesa etc way down at the bottom.

Come Jan 1st, a 3 year CA at RAH will make $95.06 an hour, a 5 year CA will make $100 an hour.

In other words, a new CA upgrade at Republic will make just as much as your most senior pilot at Envoy. Wow, just wow.
