It's not all about you(hard to believe, I know) , it's about people trying to pass as you, your capt, FA, etc. There's no reason to talk about it here. If your an airline employee as a co-worker for the answer.

From: Sitting down and facing front. Why would you want to know that?
Or, if you want to know, you could stand by the security line and watch a few people in uniform go through and see what they do.
Oh, wait, ANYONE could do that to find out the same answer.

People have only been wearing shoes through since the beginning of airline flights. If any of them found this to be a shocker then they are too stupid to pull anything off to start with. Has nothing to do with me per se. It's pilots in general. This isn't a security issue at all. Just because one person tried something involving it doesn't mean the entire world needs to worry about it. We'd never get off the ground if that were the case. Wouldn't hurt to chill a little. You're just looking for a reason to bicker.

Well, at least they'd have to work a little harder for it AND maybe arouse some suspicion. I had a thread closed after telling a guy that UPS wears brown pants. This would certainly qualify then.

Don't you think this is taking things a bit too far. Using this logic, who's to say a terrorist isn't going to go through flight training, get a job as an airline pilot just so he/she is able to have access to a cockpit and before we know it, 9/11 part deux is upon us. When its all said and done, no matter how "secretive" we are about these insignificant details...if a terrorist wants to bring down a plane, he'll find a way to do it.
