Default Best regional to get based in Chicago?

I’m not looking to fly a specific aircraft, just want to be based out of Chicago. Suggestions for which regional can offer a junior Chicago base?

I think all of them are fairly junior or extremely junior for a Chicago base. With the exception of republic. Those guys can chime in but from what I’ve heard it’s shrinking and only getting more senior.

It’s relatively junior for Whiskey but you’ll be exiled to MKE for a few months at least. Not a bad drive.

I got Chicago out of training at XJT. If you don’t get it out of training it’s pretty junior. Maybe a couple months.

Skywest or Envoy. Stay as far away from Republic as possible. You’ll upgrade and never see it unless you stick around 10+ years.

Republic loves outstations and the northeast. Shocked ORD and IAH are even still open.

ExpressJet is worth investigating. Some whole classes are getting sent there. As stated above, if you don't get it in training you may get it out of training.

It’s not the darling right now, but if you don’t mind working, Air Wisconsin is attainable if not out of training, a couple months after.

Envoy is growing rapidly in Chicago. 90 FO 175 ORD in this last vacancy. Around 5 months to hold a line.
