The Woods or the Crossings are good. We lived at Sky Harbor apartments during the strike. Their apartments are big, cheap and safe. Regardless of where you go in NKY - tell them you're with Comair. They will feel sorry for you and will give you a break on the deposit.
Good Luck.

Depends on your situation. Do you want a nice suburban neighborhood? Near the airport? Or around the younger atmosphere? Cincy and N KY have a lot of nice places. If you want to stay in KY, I'd say Erlanger / Ft. Thomas for the suburban atmosphere. Newport is down close to the river and a lot of the hot spots along the levee. Older area, and the neighborhood are hit or miss. In Cincinnati, I'd suggest Mt. Lookout. It's suburban but with a lot around it. It's near Lunken airport, if you need a reference, and only about a 20-25 min drive to CVG. I could suggest a few more but those areas would top my list.

I think it depends on what is more important to you. If it's to be close to the airport, then NKY is the place. If you want the yuppie crowd and want to be around single young people, then the hyde park/oakley/mt lookout area is the place to be. I live there and get to the airport in 20 min. It really depends on what sort of social life you want and if you are active and all that.

I used to live in the Woods at Oakbrook back in the ACA-DoJet days. It was a nice quiet place at a decent price. At the time, it seemed like the Crossings was more for single people and the Woods was more for families. Both places gave airline crews a break on the security deposit.
Florence was one of the nicest places that we've lived, and I'd highly recommend it. I could (and did) go from the parking lot at the Woods to check-in in the A terminal in less than 30 minutes, and we didn't have SIDA badges!
We been gone for a couple of years now, but if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
