AVIATE FIFO List

Anyone have any idea as to when the FIFO list will be released if accepted into the AVIATE program?

I don't have an answer but was wondering the same thing. Curious to see where I stand.

That’s what I was figuring. Do y’all really think it will be a 6 mth wait?

Yeah they seem to be in no hurry to bring guys over. The first few guys will probably start to go over in May. The big question is how many spots from Aviate will go to each new hire class.

Enough to simultaneously make the program seem legitimate while also maintaining staffing at the UAX regionals. My airline I believe trains about 10 new CAs per month and we are understaffed. I wouldn't expect more than 2 or 3 per month but that's just totally a guess.

Also, IMO the only thing they have to do to keep the program legitimate is to make the time of service for those being taken similar to the AA flows. So I would expect them to meter it so that the people being taken are around 5-6 years at the company.... again im just guessing

No, just the first “wave.” Don’t know when the window for the second “wave” begins.

After the first 2 waves it should go to open interviews. After the first waves position on the fifo list is acceptance date. During the first waves its based on company seniority date irrespective of company. People in CPP go before everyone in aviate.

How many cpp folks are filling classes per month? I think that should give a good baseline without confirmation from United.
