Tip when you can without thinking twice.

I feel like a loser even more know when I hear people in my profession can’t find the discretionary income to tip $1. Maybe if I was to change careers I would feel differently

If you’re at a major, you should be tipping $3-$5.

We make more in a month than RJ FO’s do in a year. Some probably make less than the van drivers. Accosting them for not tipping is absurd.

I’d be surprised if any RJ FO is making less than the van driver working part-time at the Holiday Inn. Also, it doesn’t matter if I was a CA at a major or regional FO, I worked hard for every dollar I earn. I don’t want to give away $1 dollar of the money I worked so hard to earn. Sorry but those relying on my tip will have to get it elsewhere or fend for themselves.

I can’t believe you said that. Just wait until Rick gets here and see this!!! You’re entitled to tip! It’s your own fault you’re out at that overnight hotel anyway! Didn’t you GOOGLE the pay rates before you decided to become a pilot!?!? You make 35k a year before taxes for Pete’s sake

Nothing Rick can do about it. Horrible human being are going to be horrible human beings.

I love the guys that start talking pay rates and contract negotiations in the van and how much they want then pull out a single dollar with the flair of a circus magician.

Like the old men at a poker table who come with a roll of fifty cent pieces because they are too cheap to toss the dealer a white chip when they rake a two hundred dollar pot.

I did switch to two buck when I got to the majors, that might about match inflation from when I started.
