The best regional is always the one that you can drive to work. There’s just so much more flexibility doing so, that makes an crappy contract become a wash with commuting to a good contract.

I live in Mesa and work for an airline whose closest base is ORD. If you want to stay in the PHX area, go to SkyWest, no question.

If you want PHX as a CRJ FO only, it will be 12-14 months at the company to be senior enough to get it. Mesa is a great place to get right onto a line with less than 1-2 months of reserve and start hitting 85-90hrs a month. Training is about 8 weeks currently.
