Mesaba new hires

Not to jump into your thread here guys but I am hearing whispers of Delta parking a lot more crj 200's this fall too. I think we are all in for some bad news come this fall if things don't change. With the saab though, it seems like the type of plane you could put in any of the hubs to try things out, maybe they will find some use on the west coast or SLC.

So they just get rid of all of the Saabs?? It's that easy?? What a logistical nightmare. Maybe they're holding off from doing Part Time Lines because they're just planning on furloughing. The Saabs play a big role in several Blue Tail routes.

Who is not for revealing. As for what, let's just say that if you like flying the Saab you better enjoy doing it in the south.... The part about 2012 is just my personal guess from historical references.

Isnt that the truth, happened to you guys, then happened to us in our negotiations that have been going on forever. You will probably be sold eventually and then we will get bought again.

Yeah, I heard that too. If they phase out Saabs out of the North, and the rumors about more CRJ200s beiong parked becomes true, it does not bode well for DCIs unless more airplanes are ordered to replace the ones going away.

Ha Ha. You are right about that. I did hear another story that DAL has 20 CRJ900 on order from Bombardier. No one knows who will be flying them yet. This story has not been confirmed yet so take it with a grain of salt.
