On the other hand, you could move to base in DTW for Endeavor, and then line yourself up nicely to already be in base for either Delta or Spirit. Wouldn't have to move again.

There are some nice suburbs around here.

What small pay difference?

+ no 50 seat pay and their scale keeps increasing after 15 years.

Republic all day long. Their pay is nearly identical to endeavor, they don't junior man, better schedules, better insurance, better 401k, more bases.

If you really want to go to Delta, Endeavor has the guaranteed interview. Regardless of success rates, getting the interview itself is something that a lot of pilots have trouble with in the first place and that at least gives you a guaranteed shot. If you are more interested in another airline, that might change your thoughts on how valuable that is.

The DGI is a 50% success rate, OTS is 80%. Go elsewhere that has comparable pay, better work rules and morale. Try for Delta off the street if that's what you want. Or get a job tossing bags for Delta and have better pilot career progression than we do. I don't sell Delta Kool aid or propaganda, like others on this site. Also, the DGI is non-contractual and can be revoked at any time.

What's the success rate for getting an interview for the OTS guys? A lot more people trying to get an OTS interview than actually getting the job offer after the OTS interview. AND if you can get an OTS interview you can still get one while at Endeavor rather than waiting for the DGI.

Have you looked at Envoy, PSA, or SkyWest at all? All pay pretty well and have their own quirks and flavors.

I can list 10 captains I personally know at skywest that currently either have a class date or interviews with delta for feb/march just from dtw. who knows how many more from our other bases. All the ones I’ve talked to have said there’s been a lot more skywest guys at the delta interviews than endeavor.

I would throw skywest in the mix too we have a much quicker upgrade than endeavor not sure about republic. The guaranteed interview is nice but it’s only after 18 months as captain which is about at 2.5+ years i believe.
