Refering to the ones who totally screw up what they are saying...and there are some out there. I've already said one of them did a good job. Geesh.

He probably just overworked his legs on the rudder trying to maintain directional control. I'm sure all your muscles tighten up like crazy right before touchdown in that situation. Seems like I'm always soar after a checkride

Amazing to me how long he held the nose gear off the runway after touching down and maintaining directional control. What a great job. Looked windy, too.

That reporter actually sounded pretty knowledgable to me. Much more so than average.

That's what I was refering to...the average ones. The ones that call a CRJ a boeing. There are good ones, but some botch it bad. :-D Maybe I posted after the link was put up? Yeah that guy did great. Anyway that's irrevelent. Outstanding piloting job, and glad everyone including the dog walked away...darn step.

See on that link about the other plane crash? Wasn't much left...so glad to hear the pilot and his cousin survived as well.

That was actually the chopper pilot for WFLA reporting. He tends to not wait around for a reporter to get to the pad before he leaves and will do double duty. His name is Judd Chapin.
