Might seem like a stupid question, but I just want to make sure I am getting up to date info. I have a friend in Germany that has a Visa to come to the US, but we are unsure if they are even allowed to at this point. They have a ticket but when they went to add some luggage to it, the system said not allowed to travel. Is that accurate or is there something amiss?
Thank You

Given the facts that WE are banned from going to western europe, and that they are having bad covid outbreaks over there, I can't imagine the USG is currently welcoming their folks over here.

Pretty sure tourism is a no go. But if it's for immigration should be g2g. I'd still give a ring to the local embassy before booking anything to be safe. Some states/airlines may have testing and quarantine rules so make sure you're up on those. Good luck!

I was in germany two weeks ago. Granted I have dual citizenship but I had no trouble traveling to Europe and back. Neither klm or delta was checking for any covid tests prior to departure.

Duel citizenship. With that you fall onto the exception lists.
