I will clear north of 100k at OO as a just shy of 3 year FO living in base, and am home pretty much every day. Those who have flown with me know how I do this. I ride my bike (my favorite hobby) and have home cooked meals almost every day. Play the game and be flexible, and you can make it happen. Also, no kool aid being consumed here. I tell folks go to the regional that offers the best QOL, and pay to a degree. Some of you in here are very bitter, and it shows. Just be happy you are behind an airplane, making money doing something you hopefully enjoy. Life is too short to have this animosity towards others’ pilot groups. One person’s best option today may not be the case a year from now. Be open minded, and learn to make this system work for you.

So we done with the life insurance sales pitch yet? I’m actually curious on YX.
PBS is whatever, works well for senior folks, at least we have some flexibility with 1,2,3,4 day trips, no 5 day trips. 9e only has 4 and 5 day trips (very surprising) and they can’t drop anything. Saying you can’t drop anything at OO is completely false, I just recently dropped a trip, it depends on your domicile. I can drop whatever the hell I want out of MSP, probably not the same case for DEN.

Dropping trips yes..almost impossible to do. However I've had good luck swapping 4 days with 3 days that are worth the same amount of credit over the last few months. Therefore giving myself one more day off and maybe losing an hr of pay
