PRIA Form

does it get in detail to training records? Or is that part of the background check when company A calls your previous company?
Or is it just a basic form from the FAA on who you worked for and what ratings were aquired at that company?

My understanding from doing a few PRIAs in the past, is that how detailed they go just depends on the company receiving the PRIA. They are the ones that have to look through your records and if there is anything to report then they will say so, otherwise it is just basic information. Also, it's usully not done by the company you are applying to, it's done by an outside contractor.

There are two versions:
FAA Version: Goes to the FAA, and they provide info back to the carrier regarding your medical, certs, ratings, and violations. IIRC it does NOT actually return info on failed checkrides, but this could still be acquired by a FOI request I think.
Air Carrier Version: Goes to previous employers. The CFRs specify exactly what info has to be provided...basically your training performance and disciplinary actions relatred to flying duties. I think disciplinary action related to telling your CP to go f### himself is not supposed to be reported via PRIA, but landing in the TDZ at the DEPARTURE end of the RWY and subsequently going into the grass would be reported.
