That kid from Piedmont posted videos online criticizing other pilots and wasn’t fired (I think actually promoted). So the standard is pretty low for what they will tolerate being posted online

Depends on the airline and what you said - in general, if you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face in front the chief pilot. You probably shouldn’t post it online.

Post of the day. 'That kid' is now at AA.

3 pages in and only two regional salary posted. This didn’t age well.

He was fired, and then daddy at AA intervened and got him unfired.

So the standard is have daddies in high places.

Honestly, who wants to post. It's embarrassing.

Its helpful to see data, even if it’s deemed embarrassing. Give people an idea of what to expect while paying their dues. I get why people wouldn’t want to post though

Yeah the major salary thread is a great read for my daydreaming, but I was hoping this one would have taken off since I'm applying to the regionals

A realistic number for year 1 gross pay is 50-60k. Regional FOs who work hard probably topping out at 80-90k and some touching 100k if you know how to work the system.

Everyone flys a lot unless you bid reserve and our 401k programs suck.

That's basically it.

We are drastically under paid.
