Even for new hires right now?

Yes, for new hires expect 3 months minimum wait and a large chance of needing requalification. Company likes to say times are coming down to every new hire class but with more LCA leaving than being trained, this is impossible. Upside is there is no delay for sims.

Interesting. Heard of some guys only waiting 3 weeks to a month that recently wrapped up (FOs, not DECs)

I see things haven't gotten better since 2016. You could probably get a job at another airline and finish their training before GJ sets up your training.

I went to Endeavor and can recommend for anyone. Day-and-night difference.

interesting. guy in my class left Endeavor when he got to sims because they were so overbooked they were only scheduling him 1 sim per week spread out over time. He said screw it and came to us

Only to likely sit and wait for sims with his new regional. Or a delay somewhere in the training pipeline. Not smart IMO

There’s probably more to the story there than sim schedule. Yes the first 2 MT’s get spread out a few days, but after that they’re usually on consecutive days for the remainder (with required off days).

Riight. .. . at one sim per week he's two months from finishing and he decided to start over and roll the dice again, makes sense.

Perhaps he left for other reasons. . .

Dynamic scheduling at 9E is terrible.

Try Mesa. DOH to IOE rapidly approaching 1 year. Sim footprint approaching 6 weeks once you finally get the call. Place is an absolute joke
