Default IOE timelines

So with all the check airmen leaving to majors what is your airlines timeline from start date to the line ? If you don't mind please use the following format so it's easier for everyone.

AIRLINE : REGIONAL XXXXXX
TRAINING TO LINE = 5 MONTHS

Just for clarification, that includes the time sitting at home waiting for a sim and a check airman.

On the Ejet. CRJ is more like 3 months from start to finish. AFAIK.

Makes sense. Skywest has monopolized most of the 170 sim time everywhere they could.

C5 is making progress with the backlog. DECs were being prioritized which was screwing FOs. Now both CA and FOs have dried up so someone hired today could see the line in 3 months.

On a somewhat relevant note…

I’ll be at a good spot in life to start training for a regional this upcoming October.

At what point would you all recommend putting out applications to secure an October class date?

ASAP, October is just around the corner. Most companies will give you a obey CJO. By the time the invite and interview is scheduled it will be about 6 months out

AIRLINE : Republic
TRAINING TO LINE = 4 months

Indoc to LOE approximately 11 weeks
Approximately 1 month wait to LOE

They are starting to stretch it a bit by inserting another week or two before systems training, but so far they have a very streamlined footprint with no significant backups. Most people are getting a start date within 1 month after their interview.

Airline: GoJet. 8+ months since first day and waiting for IOE. Assigned recurrent training 5+ months after check ride. Pilots in classes before me are still waiting. AVOID.
