Oh, this tired old nonsense.

if you seriously think any airline is going to give back any sort of loyalty to an employee, you learned nothing running that business.

Treat the janitor the same as you treat the CEO. Stand by your word. Just because others don’t doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. I learned enough to have a few successful companies so I would say keep digging there pal.

No one is forcing anyone to come to this company. It’s funny how people on this board will always find the negative and never the positive. Good luck

treat the company the way it treats you. It will NEVER be loyal to you. The instant a decision that harms you will make the company more money, the company will take the money.

Wait, what?

not at all. I’ve worked for great ones. I’m just not foolish enough to think they’d give me a tiny bit of loyalty. They won’t, and they don’t deserve mine. It’s a business transaction; labor for money.

A lot are like that and that is very true. But just because they are doesn’t mean you have to be. I’ve been on both sides of the coin as an employee and an employer. Integrity means everything without any you simply become the titanic

an employee’s “integrity” as viewed by an employer means everything to an employer because it is a means of exploitation. An employer will not reciprocate with any similar “integrity” if their income is not best served by doing so.

Back on track

So what is the latest then? Still not flying and the profile still doesn’t seem correct? It honestly doesn’t look good at this point and would think it’s survival is questionable. As stated, there is lots of work now and I would go to an established carrier before I risk going to a start up.

Something happened but it’s all hush hush. As someone else wrote, just be open and honest. If you are hiding things, it will come back to bite you.

Anyone know what's going on? Their initial plan was to exploit cheap labor, but they backed off once investigated by the DOT / ALPA. And probably when they realized they can't exploit pilots anymore in this labor market. Also CEO was fired from Virgin Australia after less than a year...yikes.
