Really? Think about all the pilots in the 80s and 90s who didn’t have internet or any way to stream content. Somehow they found a way. It’s literally the best time to be a human in world history in regards to ways to not be bored.

With Uber you can really do a lot. When I was a corporate guy I would seek out local air museums. Been to almost all the best ones. Of course, some people in the airlines want nothing to do with airplanes…

I do things like this quite a bit. A lot of hiking (Mailbox peak SEA/ Cactus to clouds PSP) or general exploring. Walk everywhere usually 15-20k steps a day getting to/from coffee and lunch etc. As others have said, there is typically something good within reach, just need to find it.

Considering it’s the regional section. We better stick to public transit.
Truthfully though, I ride the bus or train. Dirt cheap, and I enjoy the adventure.

Exactly, if you can't find ways to keep yourself entertained in this day and age then you have problems. Like those long airport sits, I have my earpods in listening to music or watching my ipad. Some people just state into space, or worse yet want to talk to you for the whole 4 hour sit. It's like dude, I like you but I don't want to spend 10 hours talking to you today between flying and sitting. Find someway to keep yourself entertained.

Prison simulator. You're locked up but lucked out and didn't get a cellmate. Maybe it was good behavior or you bribed the guard. Quick! Use the coffee up before the guard finds it since it's contraband. Now you're going to be assigned to work detail the next day so rest up as the van will leave with or without you and you don't want to suffer the consequences of missing it. Eventually you'll get released to go home before having to report back since the judge won't grant you full freedom until your 65th birthday.
