Purdy Neat or Briggs & Riley?
 

Ok I know this topic comes up very often so I did the requisite search.. from the previous posts I concluded that I should get me a PN 103NG. Then I saw a Briggs & Riley bag with similiar features, similar price and with a LIFETIME guarantee instead of the 3 yrs that come with the PN bags.

Does anyone have experience with the Briggs & Riley rollaboard? which one should I get?

I have the Briggs and Riley. I have had it for about 5 months and it still looks like new. Warranty is what sold me on it. Others (like the Costco one) also have the guarentee, but I don't think I will have to use it as often.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm looking for travel & flight bags as well. In both instances I'm looking for the most bang for the buck.

In terms of flight bags I'm looking for something that will fit both B1900D and Dash8 cockpits if at all possible. I hear the Dash's are pretty spacious up-front, so if it can fit the 1900--->it can fit the dash??? If anybody has experience in both airplanes, please sound off.

Why do you want a roll-aboard that will fit in the cockpit?

Nothing will fit in the cockpit of a 1900, you just throw it in aft cargo.

Or the coat closet at the top of the stairs.(that's where your flight kit will be too.)

I've never flown the 1900, but dang near anything will fit in the Dash.

wasn't looking for a rollaboard that'll fit the cockpit, looking for the flight bag for that. I was able to get in the cockpit the other day and there is zero room for anything in there, so flight bag and rollaboard will have to go closet or cargo. I've been looking on ebags, seems like a good deal with lifetime warrenty for the travel bag

Any flightcase should do in the Dash. I own a purdy neat with the plastic frame and I like it a lot.

Where did 3 years come from? The little piece of paper that came with my bag says "Lifetime" on it...just curious.

I got it from the luggageworks website, where it says "warranty." I guess with PN you could still get the bag refurbished or repaired for as long as your bag lasts, for a fee. With BR, their lifetime warranty is that they'll fix anything for free for lifetime.

The warranty period is three (3) years from the date of purchase on rolling bags and two (2) years on all other items.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse caused by airline baggage handling or other accidental damage.
