Default Regional Pay

Can someone in the Regional industry advise as to how wages are calculated. Are you being paid from the time you check in and started doing any paperwork or only the actual flying time only.

yep, you'll learn a lot from that reading ( i did ) but basically, most of us are "when the door is closed" paperwork, getting lunch, isn't pay...unless you consider pay the same as that compensation given in mexico sweat shops.
